When it came time for this active family to build their custom home we were pleased to be their choice builder. Having worked with this client on a historic 1913 home remodel, commercial office build-out, and their first home project, we knew we could do something special together.

With recently selling their business, and transitioning their three children into highschool and upper junior high, it was this family's desire to set down roots in the Urbandale area, near school, work, and all the places this family needed to go.

Every room of this home was high touch. Custom milk work showed up in the beams of the kitchen, firework wrap, two story staircase, and home office built-in. 

​

Multiple rooms in this home, including the exterior were winners of design awards recognized by the Des Moines community for their unique contribution to design. 

​

Though each room was special, the custom luxury owner's suite has provided the most relaxation for this family outside of the time spent on the deck together. This bathroom project features a double sided fireplace, crystal chandelieres, a walk in shower with two shower heads, and custom cabinetry with all the organization your heart would desire.

Priorities were a well built-out home office, large kitchen for entertaining, a couple's oasis for relaxation after busy days, and a meditation room for finding daily peace. This along with the award winning back patio, gave the family multiple spaces in the home to retreat.
